* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 40.8 feet
by Friday mid morning.
* Impact statement(s) - at 41.5 feet, flood gates on English Coulee
are closed, pump station and diversion gates are activated.

* Impact statement(s) - at 37.0 feet, water affects the Canadian
Pacific Railroad tracks west of Oslo.

* Timing... humidity values will decrease by midday and strong
winds will move across the region from the northwest to
southeast through the afternoon resulting in critical fire
weather conditions.

* Winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Relative humidity... as low as 20 percent.

* Temperatures... in the upper 50s.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
