Wind Advisory
Issued: 10:16 PM EDT Oct. 15, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory now in effect until 6 am EDT Tuesday...

* winds... west 15 to 25 mph with gusts between 35 and 45 mph. A
few brief localized gusts up to 50 mph possible.

* Timing... strongest winds between midnight and 5 am.

* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects.
Isolated tree damage along with the risk for isolated power
outages exists... particularly given fully leafed trees.

* Location... portions of central and eastern Massachusetts.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are
expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 mph. Winds this strong are
capable of Downing small tree limbs and branches, possibly
causing isolated power outages. Driving can also be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
