Flood Warning
Issued: 9:40 AM CST Feb. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Ouachita River at Arkadelphia.
* From Wednesday evening to late Friday night... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 8:00 am Tuesday the stage was 9.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Wednesday night and
continue to rise to near 19.0 feet by Thursday afternoon. This is
all based off forecasted rainfall over the next 48 hours. Continue
to monitor latest forecasts for any updates.
* Impacts at 17.0 feet... farmland along the river begins to flood.
Water over State Highway 7 and 51 at Railroad underpass.
* Impacts at 19.0 feet... State Highway 7 and 51 Railroad underpass
flooded. Fields and Timber along the river flooded.

At 442 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Degray lake State Park, or 13 miles southwest of Hot Springs, moving
northeast at 70 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
